QR Banao is a free online QR code generator that creates 12 types of static QR codes in seconds: link, text, UPI payment, WiFi, contact (vCard), email, call, SMS, calendar event, image, video, WhatsApp, Google Review and Google Maps. There is no signup, no watermark and nothing to install. Your QR code is created in the browser and downloads as HD PNG or SVG, with custom colors, frames and logos plus a built-in scan test.
Every job has its own QR type, so the phone takes the right action as soon as it scans: open a link, start a payment, join WiFi or save a contact.
Create a QR code for a website, social profile or any message. When scanned, the text appears exactly as you wrote it.
Build a payment QR from your UPI ID and name, with an optional fixed amount and note. It follows the UPI standard, so GPay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM can scan it.
Enter the network name, password and security type. Guests scan the code and join the WiFi without typing the password.
Make a digital business card with name, phone, email, company, address and website. Scanning saves the contact straight to the phone.
Pre-fill the email address, subject and message. Scanning opens a ready-to-send email.
Create a call QR for a phone number, or an SMS QR with a pre-written message. Ideal for helplines, support and enquiries.
Add the event name, start and end time, location and details. Scanning adds the event to the calendar, perfect for weddings, meetings and workshops.
Turn an image into a QR code. Scanning opens the picture in the browser through a short link.
Paste a YouTube, Google Drive or Vimeo link, or upload a video file. Scanning plays the video on the phone.
Create a chat QR for your number with an optional pre-filled message. Great for shops and customer support.
Let customers scan and write a Google review for your business in seconds. More reviews help your local ranking.
Turn a shop, venue or event location into a QR code that opens Google Maps at the right place.
Scan a QR code with your camera or from an image. You can check the domain before opening a link, and nothing is uploaded.
No account, login or watermark. Generate a QR code and download it right away.
PNG up to 1536 × 1536 px for print, and SVG (vector) for design software.
8 color themes, your own colors, frames, “SCAN ME” text and an optional logo.
Your data lives inside the QR, so there is no scan limit and no monthly fee.
Contrast, quiet zone and error-correction checks, plus a one-click scan test.
QR codes are normally created in your browser, and recent QR codes stay on your device.
Works smoothly on phones, tablets and computers in both light and dark mode.
Share the QR image on supported devices, or copy the QR data.
Open QR Banao, choose a QR type at the top (Link/Text, Payment, WiFi, Contact, Email, Call/SMS, Event, Image, Video, WhatsApp, Google Review or Maps), fill in the form and click the generate button. The QR code appears instantly and you can download it as PNG or SVG, or share it.
Yes, it is a free QR code generator. There is no signup, login or watermark, and you can use the codes for personal or commercial projects.
QR Banao creates static QR codes, so your data is stored inside the QR pattern itself. They never expire and have no scan limit. The only trade-off is that a static QR cannot be edited later; if the content changes, generate a new code.
Open the Payment tab and enter your UPI ID (for example name@bank) and payee name. Leave the amount empty to let the payer type it, or enter an amount to fix it. Before printing, scan the QR with a UPI app to confirm it works.
Open the WiFi tab and enter the network name (SSID), password and security type (WPA/WPA2, WEP or Open). Most phone cameras can scan a WiFi QR code and connect to the network directly.
After the QR is generated, click Download PNG or SVG. PNG suits social media and documents; SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, which makes it the best choice for print and design software.
Yes. Upload a logo (up to 2 MB) in the style options below the QR. When you add a logo, set error correction to High and keep the logo small so the code stays easy to scan.
Make sure the QR color has strong contrast with the background, keep a quiet zone (border) of at least 4 modules, and avoid very long text or URLs. Try removing the logo, raising error correction, and use the Test QR button to verify the code.
The scanner shows exactly the message you typed in the Link/Text tab. If the text is a web address, most scanners offer to open it as a link.
QR codes are normally generated inside your browser, and recent QR codes are stored only on your own device (you can clear them at any time). If the built-in engine cannot load and an online fallback is used, the data may be sent to a third-party QR service; details are in the Privacy section.
A static QR code stores the data inside the QR itself, so it is free, permanent and never expires, but it cannot be edited later. A dynamic QR code uses a short redirect link that can be changed and tracked, but it usually depends on a paid service.
An Image QR code contains a short link to your image (shortened with is.gd). If you add an ImgBB key, the image is stored on ImgBB in full quality. If both are unavailable, a small compressed image is placed directly in the QR link; in that mode some scanner apps will not open it, so use Google Lens or the phone camera.
Open the Video QR tab and paste a video link (YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo or a direct .mp4), or select a video file. In file mode the video is uploaded automatically to a free anonymous host with no account needed, and the QR contains its link. A video cannot fit inside a QR code, so the QR always holds a link to the video.
